Landscape design strategy and detailed planting proposals for new affordable housing development in North Yorkshire.

EBLA worked within a multi-disciplinary team on a new development of 97 affordable houses on the outskirts of Thirsk in North Yorkshire.

EBLA prepared a landscape design and maintenance strategy aiming to integrate the new development with the wider rural context, create a sense of place, and enhance biodiversity and wildlife connectivity. The landscape strategy was subsequently developed into detail planting design proposals for the 3.5ha site.

Planning consent was granted in March 2021.
