Tullow Market Square

EBLA are currently working with Atkins (Ireland) on a public realm strategy and design proposals for Market Square and adjacent streets in Tullow town centre.

The project aims to address the challenges of vehicle traffic and parking within this historic market town centre, by improving pedestrian links and creating welcoming usable space for people. The proposals seek to preserve Tullow’s unique character and showcase the town’s built heritage, including Father John Murphy’s monument.

Extensive collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, the client and local community through stakeholder engagement, including a series of public consultation events, forms an important aspect of the project.
