Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment for new pedestrian and cycle route.
EBLA is currently working with Atkins (Ireland) on design proposals for a new greenway scheme from Drogheda to Navan and the restoration of the Boyne Navigation canal system.
The project aims to create a high quality route linking major tourist attractions and providing leisure opportunities across the Boyne Valley, a unique landscape rich in history and biodiversity. The Boyne Valley is a designated Special Area of Conservation and Special Protection Area, whilst a significant proportion of the site lies within the Core Area and the Buffer Zone of the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Brú na Bóinne.
EBLA is undertaking landscape and visual impact assessment for stages 1-3 of the project and developing preliminary landscape design proposals.
